Class Take Away 4

Today I learned about different ways to look at inspiration and how beauty is something that deals with an intense feeling towards something that interests you. I may look at one thing and feel it is amazing, while someone else may be either weirded out or grossed out by it. Either way, that sets aside how we're all different, which makes life more interesting.

Altered Book

With my altered book, I decided to create a design out of it that explains the meaning of the name of the book "Nutrition and You". My idea was to cut a fat person at the front of the book and as they get to the end of the book, the person becomes skinny and healthy. It didn't turn out as good as I wanted but I still like it.

Class Take Away 3

Today we watched a couple videos about transformations with imagination over stories and art. Learning a different perspective on how to look at things in a whole new way, was actually more interesting than I imagined. I really got into how some of those artists minds worked towards the creations and their thought process.

Rules

My idea of rules in a workplace are designed to guide you through the mistakes others have made. Rules in society are designed to add safety and comfort.

I used my paper to create a puzzle cube with 4 rules. For games, websites, audio, and pictures. Then I left 2 paths they can choose to take, and described what the possible outcome could be depending on the choice.

What I took away from class today, how breaking rules can be beneficial much like experimenting with trial and error. Sometimes you have to move away from the normal guidelines to find a new and possibly better way of doing things.

Class Take Away 1

What I took away from class today is to take part and remember how we learned as a kid as a way to develop knew ideas. It's the natural way we learn and opens up many other options for creativity. I do see how we lose touch with that way of learning as we get older. It is a very effective way to learn, if it doesn't cost a fortune in the process.

Expectations

My expectations from this class are simple. I'm looking to further my experience in looking at things in different ways. I feel I'm pretty good at creating my own way of doing things, but I'm sure there are many other ways and the more diverse I become, the better I'll be :)

The Egg And Eye

I received an egg in class today. I'm now supposed to create something with this egg using my own imagination. I decided to boil the egg to make it hard, then create an egg cowboy man. I decided to do this, because it sounded fun and wasn't sure what else to do with it other than make breakfast out of it lol.
